Collected Homestead
Thoughtfully Designed, Rooted in Good Living, and Filled with Charm.
When a family of regenerative farmers purchased a 1979 home just a stone’s throw from their working farm in Hampstead, Maryland, they weren't searching for a blank canvas - they were searching for a place that could grow alongside the life they were intentionally cultivating.
Although the home required a complete renovation, to meet the family’s vision it never involved erasing the home’s history. Angeline & Co. chose to embrace the best parts its traditional character, thoughtfully introducing color, pattern, antiques, and meaningful objects collected by the family over time.

A Warm Welcome, Rich with Character
The entryway sets the tone for a home that honors its history while making room for new traditions. Preserving the original staircase and fireplace helped maintain a sense of familiarity, while collected furnishings, rich textures, and thoughtful architectural additions bring warmth and personality to the adjoining living room. The result is an inviting gathering space that feels as though it has evolved naturally over time.
A Little Magic Under The Stars
Wrapped in midnight blue walls and customized wallcoverings, the reading room offers a cozy retreat with a playful sense of wonder. Custom star- and moon-shaped ottomans bring a whimsical touch to the space, while rich colors, layered patterns, and inviting textures create an intimate, enveloping atmosphere. Equal parts imaginative and inviting, it's a room designed for getting lost in a good book or simply enjoying a quiet moment tucked away.
A Place to Gather & Grow
The homeowners, passionate advocates for clean food, local agriculture, and community gathering, envisioned a home that would one day support cooking classes, welcome neighbors, and serve as an extension of their nearby farm, Crescent Moon Farm. Their philosophy of intentional living became the guiding principle behind every design decision. That vision shaped a kitchen designed for more than everyday meals, creating a welcoming place to cook, share knowledge, and bring people together.
Collected Around the Table
Warm, inviting, and rich with character, the dining room was designed to celebrate the family's love of gathering around good food and meaningful conversation. Deep brown tones create a cozy, intimate atmosphere, while an antique hutch displaying a collection of cherished handmade plates adds a personal connection to the family's story. Balancing tradition with an easygoing sense of hospitality, the space feels equally suited to everyday family dinners and lively celebrations with friends and neighbors.
A Peek Through The Looking Glass
Beyond the custom breakfast nook, the butler's pantry and scullery bring another dose of personality to two of the home's hardest-working spaces. A charming wallpaper featuring garden vegetables celebrates the family's connection to the land, while hand-painted tiles depicting wildflowers and rabbits offer a more personal nod to the surrounding farm and the homeowners’ spirit. Beautifully considered yet entirely practical, these adjoining spaces support everything from everyday meal preparation to gatherings with family and friends.
Custom Comfort in Every Detail
The primary bedroom offers a quiet departure from the home's more expressive gathering spaces. A soft, understated palette, layered textures, and thoughtfully collected furnishings create a sense of calm and comfort. An oversized custom bed anchors the room, offering a generous place to unwind while maintaining the warmth and character found throughout the home.
A Little Room to Dream
The children's bedrooms and play area embrace the more imaginative side of Collected Homestead, where playful patterns, cheerful colors, and whimsical details create spaces full of personality. Designed to encourage creativity and curiosity, each room has a character of its own while feeling connected to the home's collected, lived-in spirit. Together, they offer a balance of fun and comfort, with plenty of room to play, grow, and make memories.
Refreshed From The Field
Designed to accommodate the rhythms of busy family life, the mudroom and laundry room bring a sense of charm to the home's most practical spaces. Thoughtful storage, inviting colors, and playful patterned details make everyday routines feel a little more enjoyable, while dedicated dog-washing stations offer a convenient place to clean up the family's four-legged companions after adventures around the farm. Functional without feeling utilitarian, both spaces reflect the home's balance of beauty, comfort, and purpose.
