Angeline & Co. unveils the Vinyl & Verde, a bold and immersive pool house retreat nestled in the heart of Dallas, Texas. Designed for a family who lives to entertain, this poolside pavilion is equal parts sophisticated lounge and high-functioning escape. Every inch of the space—from the bold color palette to the artisanal materials—speaks to luxury, personality, and intention. A standout feature running through the entire design is the custom terrazzo flooring, which grounds the project with visual texture and a durable foundation, tying each space together with subtle richness.

At the heart of the pool house lies a striking indoor-outdoor kitchen, wrapped in richly veined green marble and paired with American walnut cabinetry. Dual brass pendant lights bring sculptural drama above a built-in Lynx cooktop and griddle, all set against a saturated burgundy backdrop. This palette of deep earth tones and organic textures creates a luxurious yet grounded atmosphere for hosting. Just steps away, a long dining table invites al fresco meals beneath a shaded overhang, blurring the lines between architecture and landscape.
The adjacent lounge area invites guests to slow down and savor the experience. A wall-to-wall vinyl record library and McIntosh tube amp provide the soundtrack to gatherings, while built-in walnut shelving and custom millwork echo the home's warm modernist sensibility. Framed photography, a sleek leather banquette, and curated furnishings layer additional personality, all while reinforcing the home's refined but relaxed atmosphere.
Designed with equal attention to utility, the mudroom and bath areas deliver thoughtful beauty in motion. A niche tiled in glossy burgundy and black accommodates towels, pickleball gear, and poolside accessories, blending form with function. Around the corner, the powder room and walk-in shower present a dramatic material moment: burgundy plaster walls meet swirling blue-gray marble, forming a custom sink, backsplash, and built-in shower bench. Brushed brass fixtures and saturated wall tones give this space a moody elegance that feels indulgent and serene.
The Pool House is a masterclass in detail-driven Dallas design—where entertainment, relaxation, and style flow seamlessly from one space to the next. With its timeless materiality, sculptural lighting, rich hues, and that unforgettable terrazzo foundation, this pool house is more than an addition—it’s an experience.
